Assistant Coach

Hi, my name is Keegan Anderson, I am the assistant baseball coach here at LASA. I have lived in Austin my entire life and attended LASA high school from 2012-2016. After that I attended St. Edwards University where I majored in Sports Management. Following undergrad I decided to pursue a career in education in hopes to someday be an athletic program administrator, and I am now a Science teacher at Martin Middle School. I have played baseball since I was 5, including all 4 years in high school as a Jag. I didn’t play college ball, but never stopped playing thanks to local men's leagues - I am a LH pitcher/outfielder.

Like many LASA baseball players, I am a product of Oak Hill Youth Sports Association. I have spent many years there as a player, volunteer, grounds crew member, umpire, coach, and am now a commissioner there. In my time at Oak Hill, I head coached two 14U championship teams - one in the spring and one in the summer, and I am excited to continue to develop my coaching abilities and do everything in my power to help develop the Raptors baseball program.

Outside of work I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, spending time with my girlfriend, playing video games, watching comic book movies, and of course keeping up with the MLB season. My favorite baseball team is the Washington Nationals and my favorite baseball movies are the Bad News Bears, Moneyball, and Major League. Looking forward to a great season!

Hello everyone! I consider it an honor and a privilege to be the head coach of the LASA Raptors baseball program. I have three small children: Callen, Carley, and Rowan. I have an intense passion for baseball and still play today with my friends from high school in a local men's league. I played independent professional baseball for parts of two seasons. Collegiately, I played for Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi by way of Laredo JC.

I started coaching in Shreveport, LA and was able to help the teams I coached there to two district championships and two state quarterfinal games. Here in Austin, I served as the Varsity Assistant coach at Reagan ECHS, then took over as Head Coach of LBJ High School. In 2021, I moved to the new LASA campus and began building the Raptors Baseball program. I'm excited to be bringing my love for the game and enthusiasm as a mentor to LASA. As the head coach, I hope to help young men grow individually as athletes and students while working together to win on the field as a team.

Looking forward the the bright future ahead of us. Go Raptors!!!

Hello Baseball Raptor Family!  I have been a baseball fan for as long as I can remember, my love for baseball came in my backyard fielding grounders with my stepdad and brother.  We created a mini baseball field in our backyard, where, with the neighborhood kids we played countless innings of "street" ball.  I played Little League fast-pitch softball from 1st through 8th grade, where I was a catcher/outfielder, when I switched to lacrosse - as one of the first high school women’s lacrosse teams/players in Colorado.

I continued my education at the University of Northern Colorado where I continued to play club lacrosse. I followed the Denver Zephyrs and Boston Redsox, adding the Colorado Rockies when they were established, and now the Texas Rangers.  I am a student of the game and enjoy learning new facets every time I watch in person or on television.

I met my husband playing adult slow-pitch softball in Las Vegas, NV, where we married and had two sons: CJ and Connor.  We have continued to coach and support our sons through their passion for baseball, both Little League and select in the Bastrop/Austin area.  As one of the assistant coaches here at LASA, I am excited to begin this high school coaching journey with the Raptors and support the program in any way that I am able.  Looking forward to this new baseball chapter. Go Raptors!
